Till yesterday

I was one of those normal beings, who get up early in the morning,

Pursue their tirade work and at night fall asleep

But today

I can sense the charisma of the rising sun and the magical splendor of shabbu!

Till yesterday

Sorrows, grief, tensions and pessimism marked my life

But today

The lamp of hope has lit my path ahead!

Till yesterday

The vast expanse above my head and the immense depth below my feet

Was a mystery to me

But today

It is soothing beauty for my sense-‘n’-soul!

Till yesterday

I had no aim

But today

I strive to bring out the best in me!

Till yesterday

I looked up to God to register my complains

But today

I pay the Almighty my earnest gratitude!

Till yesterday

I existed

But today

Am alive!

I have traveled this distance between yesterday and today

Because of you

You my love are my guide, my inspiration!

You are my shadow as well as my mirror.

You were my lifeguard when the tide of despair shattered my sail.

You were my nest when the storm of hopelessness blew my hut off

Words are just not enough to describe what you are to me

My love for you is immortal!
