As I saw the rising sun
It knocked on the door to my heart,
As I heard the chirping birds
It wished me ‘hello’,
As I bartered through my day
It moved along with me
As I greeted the splendid dusk
It overwhelmingly encircled me
As I cajoled with the enchanting dark
It drooled all over me
Since then we’ve been inseparable
It has brightened my days
Enlightened my nights
Sparkled my eyes…
I’m now but a reincarnation of my own self
Traversing through the crests-n-troughs of life
Welcoming all blues-n-pinks with open arms
